Joseph
Park was born in Seoul, Korea. His talent in art was recognized when he
was young. After he took private lessons when he was 19 years old in
Korea, he began to have an understanding of the area of light, shadow
and form. After he immigrated to America with his family, he took some
art classes from several colleges. He learned to understand the
harmony of colors on the canvas. However, he was compelled to study
the Bible and theology after his conversion to Jesus.
He got a BA degree at Washington Bible College
and went on to earn a M. Div. and finished the courses of Th. M. at the
Capital Bible Seminary. While working toward his degrees, he also
developed skills as an artist by reproducing master pieces as well as
drawing and painting people. After many years of church ministry as
an educational pastor, he is now using art as a great tool to show
God's love and His beauty to others. He also uses his art as a way to
praise and worship the Lord.
